Oshin (ja:おしん) is a Japanese serialized morning television drama, which aired on broadcaster NHK from April 4, 1983 to March 31, 1984. The series follows the life of Shin Tanokura (田倉 しん) during the Meiji period up to the early 1980s. Shin was called 'Oshin', which is Japanese archaic cognomen.
In total, 297 15-minute episodes were shown. In Japan, the annual average audience share was 52.6%, with a peak rating of 62.9% for a single episode. As of today, Oshin aired in 59 countries, with subtitles ranging from English to Arabic. In 1984, the earlier episodes of the drama (focused on young Oshin) were made into an animated movie by Sanrio. The movie reused Sugako Hashida's scripts and Ayako Kobayashi, who played young Oshin, did the voice of Oshin.

Ramayan is an Indian mythological series created and produced by Ramanand Sagar, it was aired on Doordarshan channel (DD National) during 1987-1988.
This series got so much popularity that channels such as Zee TV, Star Plus, and Star Utsav telecasted this series on their channels as well.
Now in 2020, the Ramayan serial will re-telecast on the Doordarshan channel (aka DD National or DD1).
Due to a coronavirus lockdown of 21 days, on public demand Ramayana serial will start its repeat telecast from 28 March 2020 as said by the Union Minister Prakash Javadekar on Friday.
This Ramayan show has recently completed 33 years and the lead casts of this serial celebrated this on Sony TV’s The Kapil Sharma Show.
From Saturday 28 March, daily 2 episodes of Ramayan will be telecasted on DD National. One episode in the morning from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM and another episode in the evening from 9:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
And after completing the Ramayan episodes, from Sunday 19 April 2020 Doordarshan will telecast episodes of Uttar Ramayan which is the next part when Ram returns to Ayodhya. Uttar Ramayan serial is also known as Lav Kush Leela or Luv Kush.
You can watch Uttar Ramayan everyday at 9:00 PM and it’s repeat telecast in next day morning at 9:00 AM.
