Today, you can grab a bunch of affordable loudspeakers, connect them to The Sound of the Mountain and play the space as an instrument.
The MNTN Production Suite comes with a 3D sound VST, AU, and AAX plugin. This means that you can connect any digital audio workstation to the MNTN spatial audio rendering app.
The fullscreen panner is designed for automating sound sources while keeping track of the whole picture. The MNTN plugins and the MNTN app communicate in both directions, so the sound sources you move can be automated in both in the DAW and in the MNTN app.
Thanks to MNTN’s object based approach, audio content in any format such as MNTN 3D, stereo, surround, quadrophony, ambisonics, or Auro 3D can be acoustically projected on any number of loudspeakers and subwoofers in almost any standardized or custom spatial configuration, 2D and 3D.
Depending on your license, and on what audio interface you use, you can use as much audio input and output channels as your computer can eat — even with two different audio interfaces for inputs and outputs.
Start working on headphones by using the binaural listening mode. Later you can switch the playback mode to any multichannel configuration and finish your 3D mix on a loudspeaker set-up.
