Monitor: HP ZR30W
Display card: GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 590 3072MB
X-Rite i1Display2 colorimeter
Hello,
I have HP ZR30W monitor (30 inch) . As you know this model lacks on-screen menu.
1) I've read that all of the monitor parameters can be set within display card's settings. Do they mean Brightness and Constrast and all the other parameters typically found in on-screen menu? What program should I install and use for that purpose?
2) I'm going to calibrate the monitor. What settings (eg. for brightness) should I use (I don't have a menu so how to set the brightness precisely)? Is there any tutorial?
The monitor is connected through DisplayPort.

When I go to the nvidia configuration panel I can see the monitor there as my second display. (My primary monitor is a HP zr24w.) I can change the resolution settings, but still the hp zr30w remains blank. I have no idea anymore at this point what it could be.
